Programs and Degrees

The College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT) offers bachelor of science programs in engineering, computer science, and information systems.  We also offer a bachelor of arts in business technology administration. In addition to minor programs in computer science, computing, and information systems, UMBC also offers learning opportunities with several upper level undergraduate certificate programs.

Graduate programs leading to the master of science and doctor of philosophy degrees, and an online masters of science program in information systems, are also available. Masters of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) programs and Post-Baccalaureate Certificates (P.B.C.) are offered in strategic subjects. Graduate programs may also offer concentrations or tracks. This agreement provides UMBC students in the Master of Science in Engineering Management program or are interested in career-oriented graduate education in business, an opportunity to enhance their degree by taking business-oriented courses.

Students enrolled in the Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) at the University of Baltimore or the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) in Engineering Management or Project Management at UMBC can now transfer up to 12-credits to the University of Baltimore MBA program or Graduate Certificate in Business Fundamentals the at the University of Baltimore.
