The UMBC Grand Challenge Scholars Program (GCSP) is designed for students from all majors who want to help solve important problems facing society. This structured program provides a vibrant interdisciplinary community to help tackle the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) Grand Challenges, and gives students experience and skills to help create solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century.
