The Institute for Harnessing Data and Model Revolution in the Polar Regions (iHARP) is among the five new National Science Foundation (NSF) Harnessing the Data Revolution (HDR) Institutes. iHARP researchers will use data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to analyze enormous volumes of climate data, and Arctic and Antarctic observations in ways that could help address national priorities and challenges related to climate change, sea level rise and the rapidly changing Arctic.
