UMBC Magazine: See The Challenge, Be The Change

Modeled after a national program, UMBC’s Grand Challenge Scholars Program was established in the College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT) in Fall 2016. Over the past six years, the program has expanded, drawing together students from various disciplines to address major challenges that the world is facing.
