Dr. Simsek holds a PhD in ECE from Duke University. He is a former Marie Curie fellow, senior member of IEEE, and a licensed professional engineer.

Research Interests

Scientific Computing, Photonics, and Machine Learning.

Teaching Interests

Electromagnetics, Photonics, Numerical Methods, Signals and Systems, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Scientific Computing.
