This program seeks to holistically connect transfer students to academic research and faculty in the College of Engineering and Information Technology. In collaboration with the Undergraduate Research & Prestigious Scholarships office, we will demystify the research process at UMBC and provide support for students interested in conducting research with a UMBC faculty member. Students in the program will receive mentoring and support to apply and present at the Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement Day (URCAD) in the Spring semester.
This program will run the duration of one academic year and students in the program should attend at least one 1 research workshop or check-in per month. For more information about this program, please see the Information Session Presentation here.
