COEIT Summer Research Pathways Awards

In summer 2026, the UMBC College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT) invited Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) students to submit applications for a summer research experience at UMBC through the COEIT Summer Research Pathways (CSRP) pilot program led by Dr. Jorge Almodovar. The program pairs STEM-oriented community college students with a COEIT faculty mentor to explore a research project and participate in professional development experiences with the COEIT Student Summer Project (CSSP) cohort.

Application information for CSRP 2027 will be posted in the spring.
