The amount of diversity on campus and how well everyone respects each other regardless of background. People at UMBC welcome all and are open to different beliefs. The teachers at UMBC are wonderful and are always willing to help students in any way they can, teachers here want the students to excel and always try to give students what ever tools or utilities necessary to do so.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
CMPE 212: Digital Analysis and Design. I love all my computer engineering courses, but digital logic is my favorite area of study and this is where you learn the fundamentals.
What are you researching?
I’m currently not researching anything at UMBC as I work part time to pay for school and try to focus on my academics. Many areas of research interest me, including quantum computing.
What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC?
To obtain a position with a private contractor engineering firm, possibly taking on a position overseas in either Paris or England. Many opportunities are available after I graduate from UMBC, but as long as I’m working on the frontier of technology I’ll be satisfied.

UMBC attracts certain people and is a promising place to network as everyone who graduates will be talented and strong professional. I feel confident UMBC has been the best place for me to obtain my degree, and has given me everything I require to become a strong professional myself in my own area of studies.
