What do you love about UMBC?
I love how hard people work at UMBC. Although the coursework can get rigorous at times, it’s great seeing people locking down and studying hard to earn good grades in their classes.

What would you say to a prospective student?
UMBC is a great place to go to school, but you have to make sure you make use of it. Bug the professors’ office hours, interact with peers and make friends and you will get a lot out of your time here.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
My favorite class at UMBC so far has been ENES 101. In this class, I was able to work with my teammates to design and build a robot that would compete in the UROS competition. The robot experience taught me many valuable lessons in engineering, which I believe will help me many years from now.

Where did you complete your internship/applied learning experience?
I hope to earn a job for the government or a well established engineering firm after gaining more experience in my field. I want to work at a place where my ideas can be put to action as an engineer.
