Why did you choose UMBC?
I wanted to come to UMBC because this campus allows me to network easily. In addition, the diversity of the campus was very important for me.
What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
My favorite class at UMBC is ENME 204, which is Introduction to Engineering with Design and CAD. This class has taught me about Solidworks, which will help me in my near future as an engineer.
Where did you complete your internship?
I have completed an internship at Thoughts to Paper and Asbury Methodist Village. At Thoughts to Paper, I completed patent applications for clients to send to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. At Asbury Methodist Village, I interned in the human resources office.
What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC?
After I recieve my degree in Mechanical Engineering at UMBC, I plan to work for an engineering firm full time while studying to complete my masters part time. I want to make a difference in the engineering world, so I hope to move up in the firm that I work for.
