What do you love about UMBC?
I love how small UMBC is because I can meet someone new in a club and then I see them around campus all the time. I also love the sense of community that is present here. Everyone is super friendly and depending on what student organizations you join, you can create really strong bonds with other people.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
My favorite class at UMBC so far has been PHIL 357, which is the Philosophy of Human Rights. Professor Thomas is a great instructor, and also the content that we cover is fascinating stuff that has real-world applications.

Where did you complete your internship/applied learning experience?
I have previously interned with Optio Labs and KeyW, and am about to enter into an internship program with Booz Allen Hamilton.

What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC?
I hope to get my M.S in Computer Science (maybe at UMBC too!), and then work in industry developing Educational Technology tools. After a while, I want to go back to school and get my Masters in Teaching and teach High School Computer Science.
