Why did you decide to attend UMBC? And why did you choose your program in particular?
I was impressed by the Machine Learning research community at UMBC. My love for software development and the realization of the impact, a software can have on our daily lives made me chose Computer Science program.
What are some of the benefits of being involved in the graduate community at UMBC?
All the professors are really approachable and provides you the opportunity to work on a lot of interesting research projects.
What is your favorite thing about UMBC? What is your favorite thing about Baltimore?
The campus is so beautiful. I really like the Baltimore nightlife.
Briefly describe your graduate research and its purpose/application.
I am currently working on devising an algorithm which could transfer the accent of a person to another person’s voice.
What are your plans after you complete your degree at UMBC?
I will be joining Bloomberg, LP as Software Engineer in New York
When you are not conducting research, what are your hobbies or interests?
I like to watch movies and cricket matches.
