What do you love about UMBC?
I love that UMBC promotes a very engaging academic environment. I feel challenged in my classes, but I also feel like my professors and fellow classmates want me to succeed and are very willing to help.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
I really enjoyed my Mechanics of Materials class (ENME 220) that I took my sophomore year. My professor was really inspiring, I enjoyed the content, and I felt challenged throughout the class.

Where did you complete your internship?
I was a reliability engineering intern for W.R. Grace & Co. during summer 2018 at their Curtis Bay Plant.

What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC?
I hope to either work in research or work at a company in the biomedical, bio-mechanical, or environmental field. Essentially I want to make a difference with my degree
