Why did you chose UMBC?
I chose UMBC because it may not have been the most prominent of schools known, but it has a reputation to be a hidden gem. This school is in my mind the up and coming school that people will know its greatness and want to be apart of..

What do you love about UMBC?
I love that it is a smaller school then others so you can have smaller class sizes and get to know your pears through group projects and get involved in your major.

What would you say to a prospective student?
If you are worried about where to go to school and where to go after you get your degree. UMBC a great school to be apart of because instead of trying to know who you are and what you are to become, UMBC guides you through and helps find who you truly are and will help you find where you want to go in life. All you need to do is just reach out and try something new.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
My favorite class has been my FYS (first year seminar) that talks about conflict, and conflict resolution. I know that this is not a class about my major, but it was very intricate and I was able to think and learn about how other may think.

What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC?
I hope to achieve an understanding of the engineering and figure out what type of engineering profession I should work for and get a job in an industry that has good morals and wants to better enhance the world and the community around them.
