It is okay to change your mind during the year about what you want to do or major in. UMBC has great resources and advisers to help you through your studies here. Also, there are numerous programs and clubs to get involved in on campus that make campus life fun.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
My favorite class at UMBC so far has been Elementary German I. My professor sparked a new interest in me, a love for German language and culture. Professor Birke not only taught us German but he made class enjoyable and engaging. The class was one reason why I decided to study abroad in Germany over the summer(2018).
