What do you love about UMBC?
I love the diversity and inclusion that is present within the UMBC community.  I’m also glad to have had professors who genuinely care about their students and their goals.

What would you say to a prospective student?
Find out what you want to study and have a career in as soon as possible so that you can plan out your schedule and have more time to do other things, which also puts you in a good position for graduation and beyond.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
I really enjoyed IS 300 Management Information Systems with Dr. Stacy Branham!

Where did you complete your internship/applied learning experience?
Over the summer, I interned at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in Washington, DC.  It was a great experience – I was able to apply what I’m currently studying and I gained a lot of transferable skills and knowledge about technology and banking.  I can’t wait to be back!

What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC?
I want to get my master’s degree and work in an environment that focuses on facilitating the use of information systems and accounting to help businesses and consumers.
