Why did you choose UMBC? I chose UMBC because it was great for Computer Science, it was close to home, super affordable, and the student life seemed great.

What do you love about UMBC? I love how you can be involved in many different things, but also have time to put school first and focus on your grades. It is a great environment to become well-rounded.

What would you say to a prospective student? UMBC is what you make it. You can stay in your room and watch TV and fail out, or you can get involved, study, make friends, and get started in a great career.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC? Abnormal psychology – I actually wanted to go to every class, payed attention, and learned so much applicable information that helped me from that point on.

Where did you complete your internship? I interned two summers at Google, the first summer in Boston on Flights, and the second summer in Mountain View on Play Analytics. This summer I will be at Microsoft.

What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC? I hope to become a software engineer with a focus in AI or ML. I would also like to work for Palantir or SpaceX, making a huge impact on society, changing lives.
