Why did you choose UMBC?
I chose UMBC because it is known for it’s excellent Information Technology curriculum. Second to this, many of my friends chose to attend UMBC.

What do you love about UMBC?
I love how committed everyone is toward academic success; it is very motivating and inspirational. It is so easy to get involved on campus and build your resume/portfolio in result. The amount of connections that UMBC has with many reputable employers is very appealing to me.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
My favorite class so far at UMBC has been IS 310: Software/Hardware Concepts (Systems Architecture). Everything that I learned from this class has grown my interest in information technology/systems even more than it was prior to taking the class.

What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC?
After completing my degree at UMBC, I hope to obtain a full time position as a software developer/engineer and apply my acquired knowledge in both information systems and computer science.
