Why did you choose UMBC?
UMBC was featured on a Princeton Review list as one of the top schools for game design.

What do you love about UMBC?
I like that the campus is ethnically diverse. There are a lot of career fairs and internship opportunities. There are also a lot of cool student organizations on campus.

What would you say to a prospective student?
Take advantage of UMBC works and go to campus events, opportunities are everywhere.

What has been your favorite class at UMBC?
Intro to Creative Writing Nonfiction Essays. The teacher was phenomenal on every level. Every night I had class, he completely blew me away. He was so insightful, intelligent and inspiring. I looked at my writing in ways I never thought of and he put weight on the idea that just because you’re good at something(even really good). There’s always room to get better.

What are you researching?
Right now, my IS 202 group is researching a business that may have a technical/nontechnical problem and is devising a technical solution.

What do you hope to achieve after you complete your degree at UMBC?
I hope to move back out West and get a job in my field that will allow me to make enough money to have an apartment in Carson City or Reno overlooking the landscape.
